A Plus Garage Doors does more than just garage doors. Although our true specialty is working on all kinds of garage doors, we’re also interested in helping the community and giving back to the people that we partner with. Two primary ways that we do this are through our Referral Program and with our community events.

Our Referral Program helps our most loyal customers keep and maintain their doors longer, at no additional charge. There are a ton of advantages to having some routine annual maintenance done on your garage door – a basic checkup, tightening of components, testing of spring, and similar upkeep will ensure that the door and opener last their entire lifetimes. Additionally, a checkup will leave your garage door operating more quietly and smoothly, and will give you early warning if anything is becoming damaged or unsafe. If annual maintenance sounds like something you’d be interested in, feel free to give us a call – but, if you want, our referral program lets you get that same level of care without spending a sent. If you have friends or family in the area in need of a new garage door or a repair, you can refer A Plus and confirm the referral through our mobile app. Once you’ve referred three people, you can get a maintenance for free – and if you refer fewer then three people, you can still get a discount. 

Events are a side goal of A Plus where we support causes that we’re passionate about. These include wellness education, self-defense classes, and animal advocacy. Our most popular events are our Puppy Bowls, where we partner with local shelters and vendors to organize adoption events. We’re organized three Puppy Bowls so far, and almost thirty dogs have found their forever homes as a result of the bowls. We love having a chance to meet pet-related companies in the area, and networking with local businesses teaches us new things every year. If you have a dog and want to learn how to really pamper them, our vendors will show you everything you can do – we have had water therapists, boarding and daycare facilities, mobile veterinary offices, pet painters and photographers, and a dozen other services that your pooch would love. If you don’t have a dog but are interested in becoming a pet owner, we have had three shelters on-site each yeah, with hoards of puppies and sweet-tempered older dogs ready to impress you and find a forever home. Puppy Bowl 2018 was a huge success! 

We are THRILLED by the success of our Third Annual Puppy Bowl! In coordination with over a group of sponsors and our incredible host Independence Mazda, we organized our largest event yet, with an estimated 600 attendees! We had a fantastic time working with our shelters partners and giving attendees a chance to meet (and fall in love with!) the dogs of their dreams.
